Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

Where can I find your rates?

All of my photoshoot rates can be found on my investment page, linked here.

How far can you travel for a session?

Depending on the time of the year, quite far! For any photoshoots more than 2 hours from Montrose, I do recommend inquiring at least 3 months before the date you have in mind so that I can prepare my schedule. I've traveled as far as Alaska for photos before, so the possibilities are wide open!

What is your turnaround time?

As of May 2026, current turnaround is 4-5 weeks.

Why do you use film?

I started with film photography several years ago and instantly knew it was for me. Today, there are several reasons I use film for portraits. First, the tones that film gives are so so good for photographing people, creating a flattering, even look. Second, the use of old, technical cameras is an art worth keeping alive, and adds a sense of fulfillment to every photo I take with one. There are many other reasons, but these two are some of the highest. Check out some of my film portraits here!

Do you offer mini sessions?

Yes! Although I usually only do minis as part of a mini session day, several times a year, reach out anytime if you are looking for a shorter photoshoot!

Do you photograph weddings?

I do not typically do weddings at the moment, although I have photographed a few and am happy to take your inquiry. Upon reviewing the inquiry, I may recommend you to one of the many amazing wedding photographers in the area! :)
